Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Little Bankers ("we", "us") is provided by Pagare Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, whose registered office is Greetwell Place, 2 Lime Kiln Way, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN2 4US, United Kingdom. Pagare Consulting Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@littlebankers.uk.

1. The short version

We collect the information a Parent enters to run their household (their first name and email, child profiles, goals, activity and habit records), plus minimal technical data needed to make the App work. We don't sell data, don't show ads, and don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. Any photos you or your children upload are personal data — please only upload what you're comfortable sharing within the household.

2. Information we collect

  • Account/household information: the household owner's first name (used to address emails and screens to them) and email address (used to send the household code and, if enabled, notifications), and a randomly generated household code.
  • Child profile information: name, age, and avatar (an emoji or, optionally, an uploaded photo).
  • Photos: photos are always optional. A Parent or child may upload a photo as an avatar, to illustrate a savings goal, or to attach to an earning request (e.g. a photo of a finished chore). Photos of children are personal data about that child — see Section 3.
  • Activity data: tokens earned or spent, daily habit completions, streaks, savings goals, requests sent to a Parent, and Learn & Earn quiz/test results.
  • Communications: any feedback, bug reports, or messages you send us, including the email address you provide with them.
  • Push notifications: if enabled, a device subscription used solely to deliver notifications about requests and approvals.
  • Technical data: standard web request data (such as IP address, handled by our hosting provider, Cloudflare) needed to serve the App securely.

3. Children's information

Little Bankers is a family app used by children under a Parent's supervision. Child profiles are created and managed by the Parent, not directly by the child, and we do not knowingly collect data directly from a child without a Parent having first set up their profile within the household. We keep the data we collect about children to what's needed to run the features the Parent turns on, and default some features to off/private (e.g. profiles can be hidden per device).

Photos of children. Uploaded photos are stored with our hosting provider and served from a web address that contains long random identifiers, so it cannot practically be guessed — but, at present, anyone who has a photo's exact address can view that photo. Treat photo links as private to your household, and only upload photos you're comfortable with on that basis. We're working on adding per-device access controls to photos, and will update this policy when they ship. You can replace or remove an avatar or goal photo in the App at any time, and deleting your household deletes its photos.

4. Why we use your information

We use the information above to: provide and maintain the household's data (performance of our contract with the Parent who set up the household); send the household code and optional notifications (also contract, or consent for notifications, which can be withdrawn any time); respond to feedback and bug reports (legitimate interest in improving the App); and keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).

5. Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers ("processors") to run the App: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and content delivery), Resend (sending the household-code and any transactional emails), and Google Cloud (generating the read-aloud audio in Learn & Earn — only the word or sentence to be spoken is sent, never any child's name, profile, or identifier). No advertisers, data brokers, or analytics/tracking companies currently receive your data — this policy will be updated if that changes. We don't sell your information, and only disclose it beyond the above where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or with your consent.

6. International transfers

Our hosting provider operates a global network, so data may be processed outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

7. How long we keep information

We keep household data for as long as the household remains active. If you ask us to delete a household, we will delete it — including its photos — save for anything we're required to retain for legal reasons.

8. Security

Your household code acts as the access key to your household's data — please treat it like a password. Parent Mode can additionally be protected by a PIN that you set. We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, but no system is 100% secure.

9. Cookies and local storage

We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device (such as your household code and PIN-verification state) to keep you signed in — this is essential to the App working and isn't used for tracking across other sites.

We count app usage in aggregate — visits, screens viewed and features used — using our own cookieless analytics, so we can see what's working and improve the App. There's no advertising, no cross-site tracking, no profiles of you or your children, and nothing is shared with analytics or advertising companies.

10. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and your household, correct inaccurate data, ask us to delete data, restrict or object to certain processing, and data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these, email support@littlebankers.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we haven't handled your data properly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to notify existing households. Email support@littlebankers.uk with any privacy questions or requests.
